Effect of cooling rate on the bainite fraction in low carbon martensitic steel: combined analysis of transformation kinetics and crystal curvature

چکیده
Derived by means of EBSD, statistics crystal curvature in quenched low carbon steel is analyzed with allowance for its transformation kinetics terms dilatometry data. Based on spectra sensitive to the distribution dislocation density, fractions martensite and bainite are quantified at high cooling rates. Distinction between resulting microstructures ascribed various proportions their athermal thermally activated (rate-dependent) constituents.
